The cake was really good in flavor but when we cut the cake it started to crumble. We left it on the counter for about 2 hours to get soft and so it would be ready to eat after dinner. This is my first time ordering from this place so not sure what to expect. We couldn’t serve the cake for everyone.

SusieCakes is such a cute little bakery, and honestly, I don’t think you can go wrong with anything here. I visited after it was recommended to me because I’ve been on the hunt for a go-to bakery for special occasion cakes, and I wanted to try several flavors before committing. My mom was a cake decorator, so I grew up around really good cake and I’m absolutely spoiled when it comes to bakery standards. I tried the piña colada cupcake, chocolate peanut butter, birthday cake, red velvet, and vanilla. Every single one was excellent. The cake itself was perfectly moist with a soft, cohesive crumb, and the frosting tasted like the real deal: rich, buttery, and high quality. Even the decorations were beautifully done, which always matters to me. I love when a bakery offers cupcakes because it’s such a great way to sample flavors before ordering a full cake, or just treat yourself for no reason at all. SusieCakes definitely earned a spot on my list for future celebrations. And as a bonus, I also tried their sugar cookies, which were just as beautiful as they were delicious. SusieCakes is one of those places that instantly feels comforting the second you walk in. Everything tastes homemade and fresh, from the cakes to the cookies and cupcakes. The frosting is rich without being overly sweet, and you can really tell they use quality ingredients. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the desserts look just as good as they taste. Perfect spot when you want a classic bakery treat that actually lives up to the hype.

Hands down one of the best cupcakes I’ve ever tasted. The price was reasonable also. The Lemon Cupcake was amazing, so was the red velvet. Good job to the Staff also, they were very friendly and attentive.
